We are very proud today to say that our Spanish teacher, Profesora Danae Brugiati Boussounis won the national prize for Panamanian literature.
She has total dedication to the Spanish language and teaching Spanish.
Actually, as she was teaching one of our Japanese students at Spanish Panama Language School last night she received the fantastic news of winning the Ricardo Miro prize for Panamanian literature.
She has already published two books, and she won for her essay: “Mestizaje, mujeres y mitos” (Miscegenation, women and myths).
According to La Prensa Panama, “The winners were chosen by 10 international jurors from Argentina, Costa Rica, Cuba, Colombia, Peru, Dominican Republic, Spain and El Salvador, who evaluated 177 unpublished works.”
