Spanish Panama Language School offers small group Spanish classes in Panama City for expats, foreign residents, professionals, and long-stay visitors who want to learn Spanish consistently while living or working in Panama.
Our regular group program combines the personal attention of a very small class with the lower cost and social experience of learning alongside other students. Classes meet twice a week for approximately three months, providing 50 hours of Spanish instruction without requiring the daily schedule of an intensive immersion program.
Because our groups are deliberately kept small, students are matched according to Spanish level and schedule. This helps teachers maintain the right pace while giving every student plenty of opportunities to speak and participate.

Don’t Wait to Start Learning Spanish
Finding two students with the same Spanish level and compatible schedules can sometimes take time. We don’t want that to prevent you from getting started.
If another suitable student is not yet available for your selected level and schedule, you may begin with private one-on-one instruction at no additional charge while we continue looking for an appropriate classmate.
When a compatible student becomes available, the program continues as a small group class.
How We Create Your Small Group
To provide a good learning experience, students are matched according to two important factors:
1. Spanish Level — Students should have a similar level so that no one feels rushed or held back.
2. Schedule — Students need to be available on the same days and at approximately the same times.
Complete our FREE Spanish evaluation and tell us your preferred schedule. We will then determine the best available placement.
Typical Class Schedules
Monday & Wednesday: approximately 6:30–8:30 p.m.
Tuesday & Thursday: approximately 6:30–8:30 p.m.
Saturday: Some Saturday schedules may also be available.
Minor adjustments may sometimes be possible depending on teacher and student availability. Contact us to discuss your preferred schedule.

Keeping Your Group Schedule
Because small group classes depend on students sharing the same schedule, participants make a commitment to the agreed class days and times when enrolling.
Once the group schedule has been established, missed classes cannot normally be rescheduled individually and the program schedule cannot be changed for one student without affecting the rest of the group.
Full payment is required before the program begins.

During breaks, students can relax on our social terrace overlooking Vía Argentina in El Cangrejo.
Enjoy complimentary coffee or tea, practice Spanish with classmates, meet other international students, and continue conversations before or after class.
These informal interactions help create the friendly, social environment that makes small group Spanish learning particularly enjoyable.
Panama Spanish course special for locals: 2 classes per week
Each class is 2 hours with complimentary coffee (or tea) breaks on the social terrace over looking the fashionable, most convenient, and Bohemian neighborhood of Via Argentina. We have bottomless coffee, complimentary tea, and it’s all delicious.
This regular Spanish course is ideal for foreign residents living or working in Panama, or tourists in Panama that decide to visit Panama longer, and who do not have the time available to do the other more intensive Spanish immersion programs of 4 hours per day.

Spanish Learning with a Social Side
Our social terrace overlooking Vía Argentina gives students a relaxed place to practice Spanish, enjoy complimentary coffee or tea, and connect with classmates, expats, professionals, and other international residents living in Panama.
Times: Wednesday, Thursday, OR Friday afternoon from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. (Tour is 9;00AM – 1:00PM and class is 1:30PM to 5:00PM. If you choose the SpanishPanama “Single-Day” Class on Saturday morning the class will be 9:00AM to 12:30PM and the half day Panama Tour will start at 12:30pm and end at 5:00pm.
