Panama City’s new Spanish restaurant on Via Argentina
Picoteo (Euro-deli) just opened last week and is voted by SpanishPanama students and staff to be another success story; that is, if they can maintain that excellent service, low prices, and diverse menu of international goodies. This place is large, large, with a wine cellar, bar, and spacious deli out in front along with outside seating. When you enter you may just notice the deli-cafe so don’t forget to explore the back.
It is located directly across the entrance of Parque Andres Bello on Via Argentina on the ground floor of the Mediteraneo Loft building, and less than one block South of SpanishPanama. It’s a great spot and big enough to hold some of Panama’s expat events.
Have a chat with Pedro from Armenia, Colombia, as he’s very well traveled. Estefania is from Pereira. Luis Manero is the owner from Spain and that’s why there’s so many Spanish dishes and wines, and a good coffee setup.
