My friends from Spanish Panama & I visited the Jardines del Bonsai at the Parque Natural Metropolitano in the heart of Panama City. Impressive plants that have been nurtured over many years, if not decades.
We met and enjoyed our visit with the owner, Senor Constantino Tserotas. His daughter is the one now in charge of tending the plants, providing for their needs while keeping them miniature sized. It is quite an art.
It is now the rainy season. Plants love this weather and grow profusely. The park, which surrounds the bonsai garden, is a preserved bit of natural jungle. You see some of it in the background of some photos.
