Spanish School Video Testimonials at Spanish Panama

Spanish Panama Language School is perhaps the most open, friendly, and professional international business in Panama. You can meet people from just about anywhere in the world while you are in Panama. As an example of Panama City’s and Spanish Panama’s cosmopolitan atmosphere here is Christian Steputat from Germany and his beautiful wife, Lin Zhao, from Beijing, China:

Christian and Lin tried learning Spanish in Miami, USA, but not so satisfied with that, they found it much better to come to the Canadian-Panamanian run Spanish & English school on Via Argentina. They could practice what they learned in class in the school’s beautiful neighborhood of El Cangrejo. Spanish Panama Language School is highly rated on all business and language school review sites. Here, foreigners in Panama get to meet new friends and make important local and legal as well as business contacts as necessary for lives in Panama. Coffee and tea is complimentary in the social terrace area of the school. All classrooms are air-conditioned & uniquely designed. Most important, the methods, the care, and the teachers are all superb. Classes are 1 on 1, in small group, regular with a few sessions per week, or intensive with up to 4 or 6 hours of instruction a day. Most students are mature professionals although all ages are welcome.
Spanish Classes (or English classes) can also be delivered via our large team of language teachers to the many businesses and offices in and around Panama City. TEL (#507) 213-3121 www.spanishpanama.com Email Joseph or Carmen (Administration) : info@spanishpanama.com

Sra. Carol Pendergast is the cousin of actor Tom Hanks (Forrest Gump, etc) and at a young 84 years of age she is a great example for us all for her ability to learn Spanish and enjoy a productive life to the fullest. Traveling alone in Panama, she describes her adventures. Here is what she wrote back about Spanish Panama Language School: Spanish Panama is such a good school, with such wonderful teachers and people, that I intend to return there for further study–especially with outstanding teacher and author, Danae Brugiati. The owner, Joseph, and the manager, Carmen, went out of their way to help me arrange housing and set up a class for me at the last minute when I arrived on their doorstep, after my itinerary in Panama had suddenly changed. The school is situated in a good central location in Panama City and offers “percs” beyond the classes, such as excursions, Friday morning group conversation practice, and coffee throughout the day! Carol Pendergrast Professor emerita, North Carolina Furthermore, Sra Carol Pendergast writes back and gives future Spanish students some more suggestions to what to do in Panama: “I want to suggest a couple of extraordinary activities that I experienced in Panama in November, which you might want to recommend to your students. These were the Feria Nacional de Artesanias and the National Oratory Contest. Both were held at the Atlapa convention center. At the Feria, one could see various groups dancing Panamanian dances, with the ladies in lovely Pollera costumes. And one could buy artesanias more cheaply than I saw them for sale anywhere else, including “molas” for as little as $10. The National Oratory Contest had so much pageantry with it–a presentation like the Academy Awards!–that even students who couldn’t understand much Spanish would be able to enjoy it. The program concluded with Panamanian singer Diana Villamonte, who sang “I will always love you” even better than Whitney Houston! She “brought down the house” with thunderous applause. I would like to attend this event again, maybe even be one of the judges when my Spanish becomes more comprehensive, since I already have a good reputation in the field of “expresion oral.” It was amazing that there were judges from several South American countries and one from the U.S. The event was attended not only by the school classes of the contestants, showing much excitement with banners and musical instruments, but also by politicians and movie stars and a video from the President’s wife! It looks like Panamanians really know how to put on a celebration, so I hope to attend the Presidential inauguration as well! Abrazos, Carol- Her video review:
